During play, the game shows "A network error has occurred. Retrying. Moving to title screen. [NP:1706:100112]" and sends you back to the title screen.
Also appears as: NP:1706:100112, A network error has occurred. Retrying. Moving to title screen., aion 2 network error moving to title screen, aion 2 kicked to title screen, 1706 100112
NCSoft hasn't published what NP:1706:100112 means, and so far it has one report: an r/Aion2 post on October 2 with no fix. It shares the NP:1706 prefix with NP:1706:100104, but that code appears at login, mostly for players in countries where AION 2 is restricted. This one appears in the middle of a session and drops you to the title screen, which points to the connection to the game server dropping.
The reporter restarted their PC and router, flushed DNS and verified the game files, and none of it helped. If it happens to a lot of players at once, it's on NCSoft's side. Check the live status page before changing anything on your end.
What to try
- 01Reported
No confirmed fix yet
There is one report of this code and no fix yet. Restarting the PC, restarting the router, flushing DNS and verifying the game files didn't help the reporter. This page will be updated when that changes.
- 02Unconfirmed
Check whether other players are being kicked too
Look at the AION 2 status page on this site (/aion-2/). If reports are spiking, the servers are dropping players and nothing local will help. If not, the problem is more likely on your connection. A VPN or ping booster is worth ruling out, since the only reply to the post asked about one.
Did this fix it for you?
