Steam Discussions — "Listing certain items for sale is restricted due to insufficent gameplay record...." ↗

You try to list an item such as Odyl on the Market (Auction House) and the game says listing certain items for sale is restricted due to an insufficient gameplay record.

Also appears as: Listing certain items for sale is restricted due to insufficient gameplay record, Listing certain items for sale is restricted due to insufficent gameplay record, insufficient gameplay record, insufficent gameplay record, aion 2 can't sell items, aion 2 auction house restricted, aion 2 market listing restricted

This is a restriction NCSoft applies to your account, so nothing on your PC causes it or fixes it. Its October 14 patch notes say a system "will be added to restrict the listing of gathering materials on the Market based on gameplay history".

In one Steam Discussions thread (six replies, October 14-16) players say they hit it after that patch despite dungeon clears, and one says buying the special membership didn't lift it. Reasons, duration and a fix are unconfirmed beyond one relayed support reply.

What to try

  1. 01

    No confirmed fix yet

NCSoft hasn't posted a notice explaining this message or saying how long it lasts. Its patch notes only mention a Market listing limit for gathering materials, based on gameplay history. This page will be updated when that changes.

Keep playing normally and wait for trusted status (one relayed reply)

A player in the thread pasted a reply they say came from NC Player Support: the market limitations are related to the Trust Status System, which is evaluated regularly, and it "may take some time for trusted status to be granted, even after many hours of gameplay". It recommends continuing to play normally and following the Operational Policy. We can't verify the reply, and no timeframe is given.

Special membership didn't lift it for reporters

One player says they bought the special membership and still can't sell items. Others say 50 dungeon clears, alts and passes didn't prevent it. Another says they expect to need level 45 for the Market; that is their belief and NCSoft hasn't stated a level requirement.

Ask NC Customer Support about the limit

Players who wrote to support got the reply above. Include a screenshot of the message, your server and character name. If you are locked out of the game entirely rather than only from the Market, see the account restricted page. For the related gathering block, see the Essence Extraction page.
