AION 2 DLSS disabled on RTX 5000-series laptops (official)

DLSS simply disappears from the AION 2 graphics menu on an RTX 5000-series laptop — it's not a settings glitch, and there's nothing to re-enable it from your end.

DLSS disappearing from the graphics menu on an RTX 5000-series laptop is NCSoft's own change, not a bug in your install. NCSoft's official notice, dated 16 July 2026, confirms DLSS 4.5 was causing the game to exit on that hardware and that DLSS was temporarily disabled there while a fix is worked out.
That notice covers only DLSS 4.5 crashes on RTX 5000-series laptops — not every AION 2 DirectX crash, and not a promise the disabling is permanent or still in effect.
One player on a desktop RTX 5070 Ti separately fixed a LowLevelFatalError crash by restoring NVIDIA's recommended settings and removing a forced DLSS preset override — a single, unreplicated report pointing at the same DLSS 4.5 instability.

If DLSS is missing from the graphics menu on an RTX 5000-series laptop, that's expected right now — NCSoft's official 16 July 2026 notice confirms DLSS 4.5 was causing game exits on that hardware and that DLSS was temporarily disabled there while it's fixed. If you're instead seeing a LowLevelFatalError crash on an RTX 5070 Ti (not a missing DLSS option), try restoring NVIDIA's recommended settings and removing any forced DLSS quality/performance preset override. One player reported this stopped their crashes, but it's a single, unreplicated report.
