AION 2 "every server is restricted": can't create a character
On the server select screen every server shows as restricted or full, you can't create a character, or "Click to Enter" does nothing after the queue.

When AION 2 opened, players reported waiting in queues for around two hours and then finding every server restricted for new characters, with "Click to Enter" not responding on some tries. Players in the Reddit launch threads treated it as a capacity limit rather than an account or install problem, and said it cleared once space opened up. NCSoft has not described the restriction itself.
NCSoft's own Launch FAQ states that Steam and PURPLE players share the same servers, so the pool is shared. NCSoft has opened extra servers in each region since Early Access began, so a server that was restricted earlier can be open now.

A reply with 6 upvotes in the r/Aion2 launch thread said to wait at the server page for the character restriction to go away and then join the server, and the original poster later said it worked. A separate reply with 4 upvotes said restrictions lift automatically as capacity changes.

Pick a newer or less full server in your region
NCSoft added servers in each region during Early Access and told players to join new servers as they become available. Its [server and matchmaking notice](https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/3393110/view/1845383656390765) carries the current list per region and says it will keep being updated.

Restarting or reinstalling hasn't helped anyone (unconfirmed)
