AION 2 "account has been restricted" (Operational Policy)

You're kicked mid-session (often while AFK, auto-running, at a world boss or in a dungeon) and on login see that the account "has been restricted in accordance with our Operational Policy", with no reason or duration.
Also appears as: This account has been restricted in accordance with our Operational Policy, restricted due to operational policies, aion 2 account restricted, aion 2 banned for no reason, aion 2 kicked and banned
This is an account restriction issued on NCSoft's side, so nothing on your PC will lift it. About 15 players across several Steam Discussions threads reported it in the first days of Early Access. Many say they weren't doing anything unusual, which points to automated anti-bot detection, but NCSoft hasn't commented and hasn't said what triggers it.
Some players suspect mouse macro software (Razer Synapse or Logitech G HUB macros), but nobody has confirmed that. As of October 2 no reporter had said their restriction was lifted.
This isn't the same as the "Account Action – Permanent Closure" ban at PURPLE checkout. That one is tied to payment and has its own page.

Submit an inquiry to NC support
Open an inquiry at help.plaync.com. Include the time you were kicked, your server and character name, and what you were doing. This is the only route that can lift a restriction.

Stop running mouse or keyboard macros (unconfirmed)
Reporters suspect macro features in Razer Synapse or Logitech software. That's unconfirmed, but while there's no official word, not running macros or autoclickers in AION 2 is the cautious choice. A separate red on-screen warning appears if you hold a mouse button down for too long.
