AION 2 crashes at launch — try disabling ASUS AURA SYNC

AION 2 closes itself with no error message right at launch, or right after clicking/touching the screen, during the Launch Scale Test playtest.
This report is from the recent Global Launch Scale Test playtest, not an old Taiwan or Korea report, which matters — most of AION 2's documented history so far is historical and doesn't necessarily hold on the current Global client. The original poster found that disabling the ASUS AURA SYNC lighting service and restarting fixed the crash, and two independent commenters in the same thread confirmed the same fix worked for them — three separate people in total. That's a real, corroborated pattern, not a one-off guess. It's not universal, though: another user in the same thread said they still crashed even after a clean boot, so if AURA SYNC isn't installed on your machine, or disabling it doesn't help, this isn't your cause.
What to try
- 01Disable the ASUS AURA SYNC lighting service (via Armoury Crate or the AURA SYNC app, or by stopping/disabling the service directly) and restart your PC before launching AION 2 again.
