Escape from Tarkov "errors occurred during matchmaking"
Queuing for a raid hangs or kicks you back with "One or more errors occurred during matchmaking", sometimes freezing the PC or taking around 10 minutes to close.

Reported on r/EscapefromTarkov on 28 September 2026, the day before Battlestate's announced data center maintenance, alongside other server errors. Replies tied it to the concurrent server problems, and a separate 29 September thread had players kicked during Reserve matchmaking and then hit with launcher errors, which replies attributed to the update and maintenance window. No fix was confirmed and Battlestate has not commented on this message.

Battlestate announced data center maintenance for 29 September, 01:00 to 05:00 BST, and Reddit reports of this message cluster around that window.
