Logging into Aniimo shows "Server not responding. Try again later" (or "Please try again later"), even though other games and websites work.

Also appears as: server not responding, aniimo server not responding, server not responding try again later, server not responding please try again later, aniimo server not responding try again later, aniimo can't log in server not responding

This dialog has more than one cause. One Reddit poster traced it to a router's parental-control DNS rerouting and could log in once it was off. That is a single confirmed case.

Other reports look server-side: several players on the same ISP in APAC hit it together, and Americas and Europe players reported drops on October 11 and 12. Pawprint hasn't commented on this dialog that we could find. Check the status page first.

What to try

    Check the Aniimo status page first

    Look at the Aniimo status page. In the Steam threads, players said it started for many people on the same day and one reported it "randomly started to work again the next day", which fits a server-side problem that nothing on your side will fix.

    Turn off router parental control or DNS rerouting

    The original poster of a Reddit thread wrote: "It ended up being the parental control router. After the DNS rerouting was turned off I could log in." Only that one player confirmed it, and it only applies if your router has such a filter turned on.

    Restart your modem (one report)

    In related Aniimo network-error threads, one player says rebooting the modem got them back in. We found no confirmation, and one player there noted they have no modem to restart.

    Reinstalling and switching region did not help reporters

    The original poster of a Steam thread says reinstalling the game and swapping the region server did not clear it. Players on Globe Fibr in APAC reported the same dialog at the same time on Reddit, with no fix.
