Aniimo "Account login failed. Log in again." — what to try

You pick a server (e.g. "Aniimo-Europe") and click "Start Adventure," and instead of loading in you get "Account login failed. Log in again." — sometimes alongside a separate "parameter error" message. Repeating the attempt occasionally works after many tries.
Also appears as: account login failed log in again, aniimo login failed, aniimo login error, aniimo parameter error, can't log in aniimo, aniimo account login failed
This was one of the most-reported problems in Aniimo's Steam launch discussions: a single thread drew 14 replies from separate players hitting the exact same message, several saying it started fine on day one and then began failing, and none reporting a fix that reliably worked — one player tried verifying game file integrity with no success. That pattern (works intermittently, unaffected by reinstalling or verifying files, hits many players independently) points at account/authentication handling on Pawprint's side rather than a broken local install, though no official statement has confirmed a cause or a fix as of this page's last check.
What to try
- 01Wait a few seconds after the server-select screen loads before clicking "Start Adventure" rather than clicking immediately — several players report the failure is more frequent when logging in right away.Unconfirmed
- 02Fully close both the game and any launcher, wait a moment, and retry — multiple players report it can take repeated attempts (one said around 15 tries) before it goes through, with no other change needed.Reported
- 03Check that your install path uses only standard English characters (no Cyrillic, CJK or other non-Latin characters in the folder name); a non-standard path has been linked to login and launch failures for other Aniimo players.Unconfirmed
- 04If it persists, contact Pawprint via the in-game Support option (F10) or aniimo_support@aniimo.com with your server region and Steam ID — Pawprint's support account has responded to other launch-week reports through these channels, though no fix for this specific message has been confirmed publicly yet.Unconfirmed
