Aniimo "Account login failed. Log in again." — what to try

You pick a server (e.g. "Aniimo-Europe") and click "Start Adventure," and instead of loading in you get "Account login failed. Log in again." Repeating the attempt occasionally works after many tries.

This was one of the most-reported problems in Aniimo's Steam launch discussions: a single thread drew 14 replies from separate players hitting the exact same message, several saying it started fine on day one and then began failing, and none reporting a fix that reliably worked — one player tried verifying game file integrity with no success. That pattern (works intermittently, unaffected by reinstalling or verifying files, hits many players independently) points at account/authentication handling on Pawprint's side rather than a broken local install, though no official statement has confirmed a cause or a fix as of this page's last check.

Fully close both the game and any launcher, wait a moment, and retry — multiple players report it can take repeated attempts (one said around 15 tries) before it goes through, with no other change needed.
