Aniimo error 109: "Network Error" disconnects and login failures
A "Network Error [109]" (or "Server Error 109") message appears while logging in or mid-session. The game keeps trying to reconnect, sends you back to the title screen, or won't log in at all, even though your internet works.
Also appears as: network error [109], network error 109, server error 109, aniimo error 109, aniimo network disconnected 109, aniimo unable to login, aniimo keeps reconnecting
Error 109 is a dropped connection to Aniimo's servers. Pawprint Studio hasn't said what it means, and there's no official fix yet.
Several players have reported it since launch: two r/Aniimo posts in September (one unable to log in for hours, one getting both 109 and 105) and a Steam comment from an America-server player kicked out every 1–2 minutes. Nobody has posted a fix that the reporter confirmed. The related teleport error is Network Disconnected 107.
If many players hit it at once, it's on the server side: check the Aniimo status page before changing anything on your end.
What to try
- 01Reported
Check whether other players are affected right now
Look at the reports and player count on the Aniimo status page and the official Steam news hub for an announced maintenance. If reports spike at the same time, wait it out: nothing on your PC will fix a server-side drop.
- 02Unconfirmed
No confirmed fix yet
None of the reporters found a fix that worked, and Pawprint hasn't replied to the reports we found. This page will be updated when that changes.
- 03Reported
Report it to Pawprint with your server region
If it keeps happening, email aniimo_support@aniimo.com or use the in-game Support option (F10). Say which server region you play on and when it happens (login, a specific area, every few minutes), since the reports so far differ.
