Where Winds Meet Steam Discussions — Customer Support Key (V) Not Working ↗

Pressing the in-game Customer Support shortcut (the "V" key) shows an "Error 401 – Network busy" message instead of opening support, even after repeated attempts.

Also appears as: error 401 where winds meet, error 401 network busy, where winds meet error de conexion, customer support key not working, V key error 401

A player reported this on Steam Discussions on November 23, 2025, and a second player confirmed hitting the same message the next day (whitelisting the game in their antivirus didn't help). The original reporter came back on November 29 with a fix, posted in Spanish: "Lo solucione, si lo tienes en castellano ponlo en ingles y prueba" ("I fixed it, if you have it in Spanish set it to English and try") — switching the game's language from Spanish to English resolved it for them. No one else has confirmed the fix yet, and NetEase hasn't acknowledged the error, so treat this as a lead rather than a guaranteed fix.

What to try

  1. 01

Switch the game language from Spanish to English (one report)

If your game language is set to Spanish, switch it to English in the settings menu and try the Customer Support (V) key again — this is the fix the original reporter found worked for them.

Whitelisting in antivirus didn't fix it for one player

Whitelisting the game in your antivirus did not resolve this for a second player who tried it — worth ruling out, but don't expect it to be the fix.

    Unconfirmed
