A "211 Error, cannot connect to server" dialog appears when trying to log in, blocking play entirely.

A player reported this on Steam Discussions: "got a 211 Error cannot connect to server, already try to review the game integrity it does not work. Try both Dx12 and regular DX as boot option either work." A separate 27-reply "Server Problem" thread from the same period describes general lag and connection trouble, which points at a server-side connection issue rather than a broken local install — verifying game files didn't help the original reporter, but switching graphics API did.
