Gray Zone Warfare "VOIP Connection Lost": voice chat not working

A "VOIP Connection Lost" popup appears and voice chat stops working, even with the right microphone selected in the game's settings.

The game's voice chat service lost its connection, and it doesn't come back on its own. Players reported it in two Steam Discussions threads after Update 0.4 in March and April 2026, still in July. Restarting the game, restarting the PC and verifying files didn't help the first reporter.
One player said a full uninstall and reinstall brought voice chat back. MADFINGER hasn't commented in either thread.

Uninstall Gray Zone Warfare in Steam, then reinstall it. One player said this fixed voice chat, at least for the time being. Restarting and verifying game files had not helped.
