The game opens, shows loading dots in the bottom-right corner for a moment, then closes itself with no error dialog at all — no code, no message.

Nobody in that thread traced it to a driver, mod or setting on their own machine, and the timing — a wave of identical crashes the moment a large, previously-closed playtest opened to the public — points at the client failing during its first connection/handshake to Deaf Tone Games' infrastructure rather than a local install problem.
