Glory To The Heroes hasn't launched yet
No confirmed launch date yet. There's no live-service history to check, and no reports are possible until real players are in the game. This page will start showing live reports, a 24-hour chart, and an incident history automatically once it does — no rebuild needed.

About Glory To The Heroes's servers
Glory To The Heroes is an unreleased PvPvE mil-sim from Deaf Tone Games (an independent studio based in Kyiv, formerly Spacedev Games), set in the Russian-Ukrainian War and rebuilt around photogrammetry-scanned, real-world battle locations. Steam still lists it as coming soon with only a “2026” release window — no exact release or Early Access date has been announced. The game is entirely self-published; there is no larger publisher standing behind its servers.
Rather than a continuous live service, Glory To The Heroes ships through periodic public playtests called “Server Slams.” The most recent ran September 18–20, 2026, opening a major pre-alpha build across three maps — Fight for Krynky, Chasiv Yar Canal, and the new Izium Machine Building Plant — and introducing two distinct multiplayer structures: Contact, a shorter matchmaking mode, and Operations, a persistent mode built around long-running battles for map control. Deaf Tone Games has described persistent characters, personal stashes and a vendor economy as early foundations still under active development, all inside a build the studio itself repeatedly calls pre-alpha.
Because the game hasn’t launched, there’s no dedicated status page and no ongoing “is it down” traffic pattern the way a live-service MMO would have — outage-style reports cluster tightly around each Server Slam weekend instead. Announcements (new playtests, infrastructure notes, region rollouts) go through Steam’s news hub for app 2239670, the official Discord, and Deaf Tone Games’ Telegram channel. Server region coverage has so far been limited to Europe and US in early waves, with player requests for wider coverage (South America, for instance) still open as of the September 2026 test.
Maintenance, queues, and real outages
Three different things get reported as "Glory To The Heroes is down," and only one of them is an outage. The chart above is the fastest way to tell them apart, once there's data on it:
A real outage
Reports spike hard within an hour, then decay as the problem is fixed. Nobody announced it in advance.
Scheduled maintenance
Reports climb steadily and stay flat for the length of the window, because everyone hits the same wall at the same time and keeps hitting it.
A login queue
Matchmaking/login reports climb while server-connection reports stay low, and a Steam player count (if shown above) holds flat instead of dropping. The servers are up and full, not down — waiting is the only fix.
No dedicated status page has been published for Glory To The Heroes — the closest official channel is the official Discord. This tracker exists precisely because that gap is normal for this kind of game, not an exception.
If it's only broken for you
Most "is it down" moments aren't outages. Work down this list before assuming the servers are the problem — it's ordered by how often each one turns out to be the answer, not by how easy it is.
- 01
Check the report count above first
It costs nothing and it settles the question. A flat report count means other players are getting in fine, and everything below is worth your time. A spike means it isn't you, and none of it is.
- 02
Verify the game files
In Steam: right-click Glory To The Heroes → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files. A partial patch is the single most common cause of a game that launches and then fails to connect.
- 03
Restart the whole chain, in order
Game, then your launcher/Steam, then your router. People almost always do the first and skip the third — a stale router NAT table produces exactly the symptom people report as "servers down."
- 04
Rule out a VPN or restrictive network
A VPN fails matchmaking far more often than it fixes it, and so does a corporate or campus network that blocks the UDP ports a game server needs. If you're on a network you don't administer, that's the likely answer.
- 05
If it crashes rather than fails to connect, treat it as a crash
A game that starts and then dies, rather than never connecting, is usually a local fault — most often graphics drivers or overlay software, not the servers.
Glory To The Heroes server status: common questions
Is Glory To The Heroes down right now?
Glory To The Heroes isn't playable yet, so there's no service to be down. This page starts counting reports the moment the servers come up — no rebuild needed.
Does Glory To The Heroes have an official status page?
No dedicated status or uptime page has been found. Deaf Tone Games (an independent Kyiv-based studio, formerly Spacedev Games) posts playtest and infrastructure updates through the Steam news hub for app 2239670, its Discord server, and the @sacedevgames account on X — all announcement channels rather than a live status dashboard. That gap is exactly why a third-party tracker like this one is useful for this game.
Where are maintenance windows, outages or new playtests announced?
Steam's news hub for app 2239670 is the most consistent channel — both the "Major Development Update & New Public Server Slam" post and the "Public Server Slam this weekend!" announcement that opened the September 18–20, 2026 test were posted there first. Deaf Tone Games also posts smaller updates through its Discord (16,000+ members) and Telegram channel (t.me/gtth_official), and applications for each Server Slam go through the official site, glorytotheheroes.com.ua.
What server regions does Glory To The Heroes support?
Coverage has been limited and playtest-by-playtest so far. An earlier Steam news post ("GLORY TO THE HEROES - Public Steam Playtest is now launched for Europe and US") confirmed the game opened first to Europe and US players, with "other regions" plugged in in later waves — and a Steam Discussions thread titled "We need servers in South America" (posted during a 2026 playtest) shows region coverage is still a live complaint, not a solved problem. No formal region list has been published for the eventual Early Access launch.
What was the September 2026 "Server Slam," and did playtest progress carry over?
The Server Slam was a free, open weekend playtest that ran from Friday, September 18, 2026, 15:00 UTC through Sunday, September 20, 23:59 UTC, announced on Steam's news hub. It opened all three of the game's maps — Krynky, Chasiv Yar Canal, and the new Izium Machine Building Plant — plus a major pre-alpha build with reworked movement, inventory, weapons and the game's two multiplayer modes, Contact (matchmaking) and Operations (persistent). Deaf Tone Games' own announcement describes persistent characters, stashes and vendors as "foundations" of a system "still actively being developed" in a build it repeatedly calls pre-alpha — the studio has not stated whether progress carries into a future Early Access launch, so treat any characters or gear from this playtest as likely temporary.
The most common Server Slam launch problem →When is Glory To The Heroes' next playtest or Early Access launch?
Steam's store page lists only a "2026" release window with no exact date, and still shows the game as coming soon rather than live. The official site describes an expected Early Access period of roughly 24 months but states plainly that "we have not yet set any specific deadlines." Deaf Tone Games' own September 2026 update says it is "working on expanding by hosting a big public test very soon" without naming a date — check the Steam news hub or Discord for the actual announcement rather than assuming a fixed schedule.
What platforms and crossplay does Glory To The Heroes support?
PC only, via Steam (Windows; Steam's own platform data lists no macOS or Linux support). No console version has been announced, so crossplay isn't applicable at this stage. The store page's Early Access FAQ notes a planned Steam Playtest feature will persist into Early Access as an "Experimental" build track for testing future updates.
Is there a real, official Glory To The Heroes Discord?
Yes — a Discord invite (discord.com/invite/zmzkh7rdH3) for the "Glory To The Heroes™" server appears both directly in search results for the game and in third-party server listings, with a member count in the mid-16,000s cited consistently across those listings. Deaf Tone Games directs playtest participants there for teammate-finding, dev Q&A and instant notice of new regions or builds going live.
