Gears of War: E-Day Manu-Boomshot: no XP after a match
The game shows "Manu-Boomshot" when a Horde or Versus match ends, and the match pays out no XP, weapon parts or other rewards.
Also appears as: Manu-Boomshot, manu boomshot, manuboomshot, boomshot error, gears e-day error code manu boomshot, gears of war e-day no xp after match, gears of war e-day weapon parts not saving, gears of war e-day rewards not saving, gears of war e-day can't connect to servers
Players report Manu-Boomshot at the end of Horde and Versus matches, with XP and weapon parts not credited. It also shows up for some players who can't connect or are stuck loading. Nothing on your PC is reported to cause it.
The Coalition has not named this code. In a post reported on October 12 it said disconnects and login problems were caused by DDoS attacks on its online services. Players link Manu-Boomshot to that outage, but that link is player correlation, not an official statement.
We found no word on whether lost rewards will be restored. Check the live status page first.
No problems reported in the last 15 minutes.
Is Gears of War: E-Day down right now? Live reports →What to try
- 01Reported
Check the live status page for E-Day
If the cause is the servers, nothing local will fix it. Check the live Gears of War: E-Day status page to see whether other players are reporting problems right now.
- 02Unconfirmed
Wait, then play another match (unconfirmed)
Steam replies describe it as server-side and say to wait. One player in the "Can't connect to servers" thread said a round played later worked. This is a single report, and nobody has said whether the earlier matches' rewards came back.
- 03Unconfirmed
No confirmed fix yet; lost rewards not confirmed restored
The Coalition has not named Manu-Boomshot or said that rewards lost to it will be restored. A Steam reply suggested XP will arrive once servers settle, but that is one player's guess. This page will be updated if that changes.
