Your PC blue-screens or restarts while loading into a raid, with "your device ran into a problem and needs to restart". Crash dumps name BEDaisy.sys, BattlEye's kernel driver, often with bugcheck 0x50 PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA.

Also appears as: your device ran into a problem and needs to restart, tarkov bsod, tarkov bsod on launch, tarkov battleye bsod, bedaisy.sys bsod tarkov, tarkov pc restarts loading raid, PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA tarkov, tarkov bugcheck 0x50 BEDaisy

Players on Steam and Reddit report Windows crashing and restarting while Tarkov loads a raid, in threads from 11 October 2026. Crash dumps they posted name BEDaisy.sys, BattlEye's kernel driver, with bugcheck 0x50, so it is on your PC, though the exact cause isn't confirmed.

The fixes that worked for more than one player involve reinstalling or deleting BattlEye's folders, but each has a failure report too. An 82-upvote r/EscapefromTarkov thread also has one success from undoing a recent Windows update. Battlestate hasn't acknowledged it.

Fix it, step by step

  1. Note

One poster looked at the dump created after the crash and said it referred to BEDaisy.sys. If yours names the same file, it points at BattlEye rather than at your hardware.

    Unconfirmed
  2. Reinstall BattlEye from the game folder

Two posters in the Steam thread said uninstalling and reinstalling BattlEye through the game's files fixed the restarts for them. Another poster did the same and was still crashing, so it doesn't work for everyone.

  3. Delete the EFT and common BattlEye folders, restart, then verify files

In the r/EscapefromTarkov thread, one commenter said to delete the EFT BattlEye folder and the common BattlEye folder, restart, then run the integrity check, and another replied "This fixed the problem for me." Separately, one commenter deleted the BattlEye folder inside the EFT install and verified files and said it seems to work, while another player said the same did not work for them.

  4. Undo the most recent Windows update (one commenter, unconfirmed)

A commenter in the same Reddit thread (5 points) said they had to undo the most recent Windows update to fix it. Only that commenter reported success, and the thread doesn't say which update.

  5. Clear the game cache and verify files (mixed results)

One reply said clearing the cache and verifying the game files helps "some people", but not them. It is second-hand and unconfirmed, and the player who tried this plus a full reinstall still crashes.

  6. Note

One player's PC restarts instantly on launch after the BattlEye check or update. They cleared the cache, verified files, reinstalled BattlEye, deleted the BattlEye cache and reinstalled the whole game without success.

  7. Note

The same BEDaisy.sys driver is named in the Windows crash when closing Tarkov. Whether the two crashes share a cause is not established.

    Unconfirmed
  8. Note

No confirmed fix yet; this page will be updated. Battlestate hasn't acknowledged the raid-load crashes, and the BattlEye reinstall is player-reported only.
