Lost progression, the wrong character shown after a failed server join, full HP with Power reset to 0 on entering an Overland map, a base piece left in the wrong position, or the "place your backed up base" journey step stuck after placing it — all around the September 2026 single-player update.

Funcom shipped hotfix 1.5.3.3 on September 18, 2026, days after the version 1.5 single-player update, fixing five bugs: progression loss for some players, the wrong character shown after a failed server join, HP fully restored and Power reset to 0 on entering an Overland map, reconnecting or respawning, base pieces left misplaced by the Base Reconstruction Tool, and the "place your backed up base" journey step failing to complete. Funcom's own patch notes list all five under "FIXES," which is why this is confirmed rather than inferred.

All five are fixed as of 1.5.3.3. The patch notes also mention improved server and client stability and brief server cycling during rollout, which is normal patch-day maintenance, not a separate outage.

    If you saw the wrong character in the Characters tab after a failed server join before this patch, don't delete or act on that character slot — Funcom's own notes specifically warn this display bug "could lead to players deleting or joining the wrong character."
