Trying to log into your home base or enter the Deep Desert throws an "872" error, while other sietches on the same World load fine.

872 is reported specifically as a per-World or per-server outage rather than an account or client problem: one Steam Discussions thread on a World-wide "Pax Down?" incident (October 2025) had a player report they "cant login in PAX-Tharva (my home-base) but different sietches work.. error 872," alongside other players on the same World hitting extreme ping and disconnects at the same time — Funcom acknowledged the incident and shipped a hotfix the following morning. That pattern — one specific World or server down while others work — is the signature to look for.
