Dune: Awakening error 324: can't reconnect, loading too long
After being kicked or disconnected, reconnecting hangs on an endless loading screen and ends with "Network Error, Game loading too long. Server Connection rejected. 324." You can't get back into the game.

Error 324 is the "Network Error, Game loading too long. Server Connection rejected. 324." dialog on Dune: Awakening. It shows up when you try to get back in after a disconnect, and the server refuses the connection.
Three Steam Discussions threads describe it. One follows the dungeon time limit kicking the player out ("you have 2 minutes left"), one a kick right after leaving a station in Hagga Basin, and one has no stated trigger. The cause isn't established, and Funcom hasn't acknowledged 324. No patch note up to hotfix 1.5.3.6 (6 Oct 2026) mentions it.
The only reported fix is a single player's file verification, which didn't help another. If it keeps happening, check Funcom's Discord for outage notices first, then contact support with a screenshot of the code.

Verify game files in Steam (one report)
In Steam, right-click Dune: Awakening, open Properties, then Installed Files and choose Verify integrity of game files, then log back in. One player who got 324 after leaving a Hagga Basin station says this got them back in; another player who had already verified files, reinstalled BattlEye and changed sietch still saw 324.

Contact Funcom support with a screenshot of the error code
If it keeps happening, contact Funcom support through the Helpshift help center with a screenshot of the error code. Funcom's connectivity page doesn't mention 324 specifically, and no patch note up to hotfix 1.5.3.6 does either, so say what you were doing when you were disconnected.
