Dune: Awakening Help Center — Known Issues (Funcom) ↗

On Xbox, Dune: Awakening won't launch and shows "Game Data Error (2V2)."

Also appears as: dune awakening error 2V2, 2V2, Game Data Error (2V2), dune awakening game data error, dune awakening xbox won't launch, dune awakening xbox game data error

Funcom lists "Game Data Error (2V2)" as a known issue on Xbox. Its Known Issues page says "some players can't launch the game and get 'Game Data Error (2V2).'" Funcom has not said what causes it.

Funcom's listed workaround is a full power cycle of the console. We have not seen player reports of whether it works every time, so treat it as Funcom's suggestion rather than a guaranteed fix.
