Arknights: Endfield error code 207 (unstable network)
A download or update stops with "Unstable network connection. Please check your connection and try again. [Error code: 207]".

The dialog blames the network connection. The one report we found says the download timed out after several gigabytes, so the likely fault is the path between your PC and the download servers, but that is unconfirmed.
It comes from a single r/ArknightsEndfield thread (4 upvotes, 9 comments), posted before the Steam launch. We found no Steam Discussions thread mentioning 207 on October 15, 2026, and Gryphline has not published anything about it. If the problem looks wider than your own connection, check the status page.
Fix it, step by step
Press Retry to resume the download (one report)
In the thread, the poster says the game's Retry button resumed the download for a while before it timed out again after several more gigabytes. That is a stopgap from one report, not a fix.
General step: use a stable network (not specific to 207)
Gryphline's Help Center login and crash checklist says to "make sure you're using a stable network (or try switching to a better network)" and to check the server status. It is general advice for login and crash problems and does not mention error 207.

No confirmed fix yet; this page will be updated. The only fix posted in the thread involved low-level network and DNS-bypass tweaks on Linux that we do not recommend, and nobody else confirmed it.
