About Arknights: Endfield's servers

Arknights: Endfield is a free-to-play 3D real-time strategy RPG from GRYPHLINE that mixes action combat with factory building. It has been available on PlayStation 5, PC and mobile since January 22, 2026, and Gryphline says it launches on Steam on October 15, 2026.

There’s no dedicated status dashboard; maintenance is announced in the Notices tab at endfield.gryphline.com/news and mirrored to the Steam news hub. A 6-hour maintenance for the Sanctuary of Ink update runs on October 14, 2026 from 17:00 to 23:00 UTC-5 for Americas / Europe, and on October 15, 2026 from 06:00 to 12:00 UTC+8 for Asia. Gryphline hasn’t published an exact hour for the Steam launch. Progress is shared across platforms on the same server, but not between the Asia and Americas / Europe servers.

Maintenance, queues, and real outages

Three different things get reported as "Arknights: Endfield is down," and only one of them is an outage. The chart above is the fastest way to tell them apart, once there's data on it:

A real outage

Reports spike hard within an hour, then decay as the problem is fixed. Nobody announced it in advance.

Scheduled maintenance

Reports climb steadily and stay flat for the length of the window, because everyone hits the same wall at the same time and keeps hitting it.

A login queue

Matchmaking/login reports climb while server-connection reports stay low, and a Steam player count (if shown above) holds flat instead of dropping. The servers are up and full, not down — waiting is the only fix.

Announced maintenance would show up at the studio's own status channel or the official Discord before it shows up here.

If it's only broken for you

Most "is it down" moments aren't outages. Work down this list before assuming the servers are the problem — it's ordered by how often each one turns out to be the answer, not by how easy it is.

  1. 01

Check the report count above first

It costs nothing and it settles the question. A flat report count means other players are getting in fine, and everything below is worth your time. A spike means it isn't you, and none of it is.

  2. 02

    Verify the game files

In Steam: right-click Arknights: Endfield → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files. A partial patch is the single most common cause of a game that launches and then fails to connect.

  3. 03

Restart the whole chain, in order

Game, then your launcher/Steam, then your router. People almost always do the first and skip the third — a stale router NAT table produces exactly the symptom people report as "servers down."

  4. 04

Rule out a VPN or restrictive network

A VPN fails matchmaking far more often than it fixes it, and so does a corporate or campus network that blocks the UDP ports a game server needs. If you're on a network you don't administer, that's the likely answer.

  5. 05

If it crashes rather than fails to connect, treat it as a crash

A game that starts and then dies, rather than never connecting, is usually a local fault — most often graphics drivers or overlay software, not the servers.

Arknights: Endfield server status: common questions

Is Arknights: Endfield down right now?

As of 20:35 UTC, 0 players have reported a problem in the last 15 minutes — counted as people, so repeat taps from one person don't inflate it. This page updates on every load.

Does Gryphline publish an official Arknights: Endfield status page?

No dedicated status dashboard has been found. Maintenance and outages are announced in the Notices tab of the official news page at endfield.gryphline.com/news, and Gryphline's "Gryphline Comms" account mirrors official posts to the Steam news hub for app 4732690. The official Discord is at discord.gg/akendfield.

When is the Arknights: Endfield Sanctuary of Ink maintenance?

A scheduled 6-hour maintenance for the "Sanctuary of Ink" update was announced in Gryphline's 13 October 2026 notice. On the Americas / Europe server it runs from 17:00 to 23:00 UTC-5 on October 14, 2026 (22:00 UTC on October 14 to 04:00 UTC on October 15). On the Asia server it runs from 06:00 to 12:00 UTC+8 on October 15, 2026, the same moment in time. The update is mandatory and nobody can log in during the window. Players with a character created before the update were promised Oroberyl x900 as compensation. If this window has passed and you still can't log in, check the Notices tab for a follow-up.

When does Arknights: Endfield launch on Steam?

Gryphline said in an official Steam news post on October 7, 2026 that the game launches on Steam on October 15, 2026. Steam's own store page still showed October 14 when we checked on October 14, and the game wasn't downloadable yet. Gryphline hasn't published an exact hour for the Steam launch, so this page doesn't give one. The game has been available on PlayStation 5, PC (via its own launcher) and mobile since January 22, 2026.

What servers does Arknights: Endfield have, and is progress shared between them?

There are two: the Asia Server and the Americas / Europe Server. Per Gryphline's Help Center, account data is not shared between servers, so progress on the Americas / Europe server doesn't carry over to the Asia server. Pick the server you intend to keep playing on before you spend time or money on it.

Can I play Arknights: Endfield on PC, PS5 and mobile with the same progress?

Yes, as long as you stay on the same server. Gryphline's Help Center says that within one server, account data is shared across PC, Android, iOS and PS5, all through the same Gryphline Account. The Steam version uses those same live servers, and the Steam playtest in August and September 2026 was announced as having no data wipe.

Do I need a Gryphline Account to play the Steam version?

Yes. Gryphline's playtest FAQ said players must link their Steam account to a Gryphline Account on first launch, either by registering a new one or by logging into an existing one. Use "Log Into Existing Account & Link" if you already play on PC, PS5 or mobile, so the Steam version uses the account that holds your progress. If the PC client freezes at "Releasing Resources 0%" after downloading an update, Gryphline has an official fix.

Releasing Resources 0%: Gryphline's official fix →

Why does the Steam version start me on a new account?

Gryphline's Account FAQ says the Steam version needs your Steam account linked to a Gryphline Account on first launch. Choosing [Register & Link] creates a new account, so a returning player starts at the prologue. If you already play elsewhere, choose [Log Into Existing Account & Link] and use the email linked to that Gryphline Account. If you only ever logged in with Google, Facebook, Apple or PSN, link an email in the Gryphline Account Center first. Pick the server your character is on.

What does Arknights: Endfield error code 207 mean?

The dialog reads "Unstable network connection. Please check your connection and try again. [Error code: 207]". We found one r/ArknightsEndfield thread, posted before the Steam launch, where it interrupted a download and Retry resumed it for a while. Gryphline hasn't documented the code, so the cause is unconfirmed.

Which server do I get on PS5, and can I choose?

Per Gryphline's Help Center, the PS5 version assigns your server automatically from the region of your PSN account, and manual server selection isn't currently supported. How the PC and Steam version decides or lets you choose a server isn't documented in the official sources we found.

What should I do if Arknights: Endfield crashes or stutters at login?

Gryphline's official troubleshooting list is: check your PC meets the system requirements, use a stable network and check the server status, force quit and log in again, restart your device, log in on a different platform and switch back, then reinstall. If it still happens, send support your account ID, game ID and the crash logs.

What is the "ACE error" in Arknights: Endfield?

ACE appears to be the game's anti-cheat; Ace-Service64.exe shows up in player reports. In one r/ArknightsEndfield thread, running the file check from the game's own launcher fixed it for one player, and another confirmed it worked. Gryphline hasn't commented.
