Arknights: Endfield shows an "ACE error" every time you try to start it on PC, so the game won't launch. Reports mention Ace-Service64.exe, part of the game's anti-cheat.

This is an anti-cheat error on your PC, not a server outage. Gryphline hasn't commented on it, so the cause isn't official.

In one r/ArknightsEndfield thread (September 29, 2026), a player said to run the file check from the game's own launcher, and a second player replied "Can confirm, this worked." That is one thread, so it's a reported fix, not a confirmed one. A separate post blamed a blue screen on ACE-BASE.sys; it got no confirmed fix.

Fix it, step by step

  1. Run the file check from the game's own launcher

    Open the game's launcher and run the file check there, not from the Epic launcher menu. One player gave this fix and another replied "Can confirm, this worked." Both were on the same Reddit thread; the original poster didn't report back.

  2. Run Ace-Service64.exe as administrator (one suggestion)

    One reply suggests manually running the anti-cheat executable Ace-Service64.exe by right-clicking it and choosing run as administrator. Nobody confirmed it worked.

  3. Verify the files in both launchers (one suggestion)

    One reply suggests verifying the game files both in the game's launcher and in the Epic Games Store. Nobody confirmed it worked.

    Gryphline's Help Center doesn't mention ACE errors, but its general list for login, stuttering and crash issues is: force quit the game and log in again, restart your device, and if nothing works, re-download and reinstall the game.     A separate September 4, 2026 r/ArknightsEndfield post reports a blue screen (SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION, 0x3B) naming ACE-BASE.sys. It's the only report we found, and its one suggested fix wasn't confirmed.
