Arkheron "Connection Error - Problem Communicating" (fix)

During queue or match loading, Arkheron shows "Connection Error - Problem Communicating with the server. Please restart the client and you should be prompted to rejoin the match" — and restarting the client doesn't clear it.

A Bonfire Studios developer (Steam-tagged staff, posting as "deolis") worked through this report directly with the affected player and identified VPN use as the trigger — the disconnects only happened while the player was connected through a VPN, and stopped once it was turned off. Bonfire also said they "made some tweaks to our game servers that could help the VPN situation," but a follow-up report in the same thread showed the issue could still recur over VPN afterward, so it isn't guaranteed fixed for every VPN setup.
