Logging into a free-to-play world fails with "To access this free world, log into a members world and move your character to a non-members area".

Jagex's support article says you get this message if you last logged out of a members world while your character was standing in a members-only area, and you then try to log into a free-to-play world. Members-only areas are not accessible on free-to-play worlds regardless of your membership status. The fix is to log into a members world, move your character to a free-to-play area, then log back into the free world you wanted. The article is tagged for both RuneScape and Old School RuneScape.
