RuneScape 3 Mac: "No Response from server" at login (fix)
Logging in to RuneScape on a Mac fails with "No Response from server. Please try again using a different world" or "Failed to login. Please try again".

On a Mac, this login message is not a sign that the servers are down. Jagex's "Client issues" support article lists both messages under macOS login issues and gives one fix: update your Mac to the latest version.
Jagex doesn't explain the cause. If you see the message on Windows, or every world fails at once, check the RuneScape status page first, since that isn't the case Jagex's article covers.

Update your Mac to the latest macOS version
Open the Apple menu > System Settings > General > Software Update and install the latest macOS version, then log in again. Jagex's support article gives this as the fix for both "No Response from server" and "Failed to login" on Mac.

Jagex's article lists no other step for these Mac messages. Its "Talk to us" button on the support site opens a ticket with Jagex Support.
