Arena Breakout: Infinite "DMA Guard enabled" error: BIOS fix

A "B.D.C. Security Center" box says "Your machine needs to have DMA Guard enabled to play games." and offers to open a guide, usually once you reach the lobby.

Also appears as: Your machine needs to have DMA Guard enabled to play games., arena breakout infinite dma guard, dma guard arena breakout, B.D.C. Security Center DMA Guard, arena breakout infinite vt-d iommu

This is the game's anti-cheat asking for a hardware setting, not a server problem. The official DMA Guard guide says the prompt means your PC hasn't turned on VT-d (Intel) or IOMMU (AMD), which you enable in the BIOS.

The same guide says the check may only be required for accounts showing "potential signs of an abnormal login environment", such as new devices or network changes, so a friend on similar hardware may never see it. A player posted the dialog on Steam on October 12, 2026; that thread has no replies.

Fix it, step by step

  1. Find your motherboard and CPU with msinfo32

Press Windows + R, type msinfo32 and press Enter. Note the "MotherBoard Manufacturer", "System Manufacturer" and "Processor" lines; the official guide says they decide your BIOS key and where the setting lives.

  2. Enable VT-d (Intel) or IOMMU (AMD) in the BIOS, then restart

Restart and tap your board's BIOS key before Windows loads (the guide lists F2 or DEL for ASUS, F12 or DEL for Gigabyte). Turn on VT-d on an Intel system or IOMMU on an AMD system. Examples from the guide: ASUS AMD, Advanced > AMD CBS > IOMMU; ASUS Intel, Advanced > System Agent (SA) Configuration > VT-d; MSI AMD, Overclocking > Advanced CPU Configuration > AMD CBS > IOMMU. Where the board offers "DMA Protection" or "DMAr Support", the guide says to turn those on too. Save, restart and launch the game.

  3. Note

The guide warns that manufacturers customise their BIOS menus, so the key or path may not match its examples, and says to contact your motherboard maker if you can't find VT-d or IOMMU.
