Arena Breakout: Infinite Steam Discussions — "Launcher login error" ↗

The launcher refuses to log in and shows "server error ID: 5/66000" instead of loading the main menu.

Also appears as: server error id 5/66000, error 5/66000, id 5/66000, launcher login error 5/66000

A player reported this exact wording — "when i try to login i get server error ID: 5/66000" — on Arena Breakout: Infinite's Steam Discussions forum, and at least one other player replied confirming the same error. The "server error" phrasing and the ID format point at Morefun's authentication backend rejecting or failing the login request rather than anything wrong with the local install, but no official post has confirmed a cause, and no fix in the thread has been verified to reliably work — one player suggested logging in with a verification code instead of a password, without confirming whether it actually resolved the error for them.

Try logging in with a verification code instead of a password

Try logging in with an emailed/SMS verification code instead of your password — one affected player suggested this as a workaround, though it hasn't been independently confirmed to work.

Check the Steam news hub for a login-related known issue

Check the Steam news hub for app 2073620 and the official @ArenaBreakoutPC account on X for a login-related known issue before retrying repeatedly.

  3. 03

    Wait and retry later

If it persists, wait and retry later — some login-server errors on this game have been reported to clear after a delay rather than needing a client-side fix.
