Launching the game shows "Failed to install ACE service" with the code "1-1701-1008," usually right after a Steam update, and the game won't start at all.

Reported on Arena Breakout: Infinite's Steam Discussions forum after a Steam update, with several other players confirming the same error in the same thread ("tож same, херня какая-то" — "same, some nonsense"). One affected player posted a follow-up confirming a full clean reinstall — of both the standalone launcher and the Steam copy — got them logging in again. Other players in the thread who only ran Steam's file-verification said that step alone did not fix it, so the reinstall specifically, not verification, is what's actually confirmed to have worked.
