On Xbox, usually on a secondary account, ARC Raiders shows "Online Connection Error" with ARAU0347 while other games and the internet work.

ARAU0347 on Xbox looks like a console-side licence problem, not an Embark outage. Players report it on secondary Xbox accounts while other games and the internet work normally, and the reported workaround is a console setting you control.

In two r/ArcRaiders threads, signing into the console's primary account and setting the console as "My home Xbox" fixed it for several players, including the original poster of the second thread. One player called it a workaround and described it as a licence-authentication problem. Embark has not commented on this code.

Fix it, step by step

  1. Sign into the primary account and set the console as My home Xbox

    Sign into the console's primary Xbox account and set that console as "My home Xbox". This is the fix described in an r/ArcRaiders post (August 9) where commenters replied "worked for me too" and "genuinely just considered my alt account a goner". The original poster of a second thread used it after about two weeks of the error and wrote "Yes I did it and it worked thank god!"

  2. Restart the console and relaunch ARC Raiders

    After setting the home console, restart the Xbox and launch ARC Raiders again, as the same post describes.

  3. Note

    We found no Embark statement or Help Center article naming ARAU0347. One player in the second thread called the home Xbox change a workaround rather than a true fix. If it does not help, contact Embark through id.embark.games (log in, then ARC Raiders support).
