Active Matter: disconnected mid-raid and can't reconnect (fix)

You lose connection during a raid — the game freezes, drops you to the main menu, or shows a connection error — and reconnecting to the same raid either fails or isn't offered, risking the gear and loot you had on you.

This has been a real, officially acknowledged problem rather than something specific to one player's setup — Gaijin's own patch notes for 0.4.0.135 list "improved the ability to reconnect to a raid after a connection loss" and "fixed a rare server freeze" among its stability fixes, and the following patch, 0.4.0.137, separately fixed "a rare server error that could occur when a player spawned in a raid." If you're hitting this on a build older than 0.4.0.137, updating is the most direct fix; if it's still happening on the current build, it's worth checking for an active incident before assuming it's local.
