ACE COMBAT 8: Wings of Theve error codes and crash fixes
Every error, crash and connection failure we have a fix for, one page per code. Before the fix, each page says whether the problem is your machine or the studio's servers — because if it's theirs, no amount of verifying game files will help, and the only useful answer is whether it's happening right now.

ACE COMBAT 8 "Error 01" (UE Live) crash: fixes players report
The game crashes with a "UE Live" dialog showing "Error 01", at startup, when the campaign or Mission 1 starts, during cutscenes, or after about an hour of play.
ACE COMBAT 8 error ST-3100001: sync Windows clock (fix)
ACE COMBAT ONLINE shows error code ST-3100001 and you can't continue, usually while a mission is loading after you pick your aircraft.

ACE COMBAT 8 error ST-4000906: can't enter ACE COMBAT ONLINE
Error ST-4000906 appears when you try to enter ACE COMBAT ONLINE after launching the game, and online play works only sometimes or not at all.
ACE COMBAT 8 ST-3101004: connection lost after a mission
Error ST-3101004 ("connection lost") appears at the end of a Co-Op Assault mission in ACE COMBAT ONLINE, before the results screen, so you get no rewards and are sent back to the title screen.
How these are graded
Every fix step carries a label. Confirmed means players demonstrably got back in with it, or the studio said so directly.Reported means it worked for some people and not others. Unconfirmed means it's circulating and there's no evidence either way yet. The distinction is the point — a page that lists five fixes with equal confidence costs you an evening.
