SEED "no seedling slots" error making a Seedling fertile (fixed)

Trying to make a Seedling fertile fails with a "no seedling slots" error — even right after another Seedling died and should have freed one up.
Also appears as: no seedling slots error, seedling slots error seed game, cant make seedling fertile seed, no slots available seed game, seed fertility error no slots
This was a bookkeeping bug, not an actual capacity limit: the game didn't always recognize that a slot had freed up the moment a Seedling died, so fertility attempts could be rejected even when a slot genuinely existed. Klang's 0.3.0 patch notes, shipped for the July 21, 2026 Early Access launch, describe the fix directly: making a Seedling fertile "no longer incorrectly fails with a 'no seedling slots' error after another Seedling dies and frees a slot." There was nothing to work around on the player side — it's a client/server sync issue Klang fixed at launch.
What to try
- 01Update the SEED Launcher to the current build. Klang's 0.3.0 patch notes list this exact error as fixed for the July 21, 2026 Early Access launch.Confirmed
- 02If it recurs on an up-to-date client, try leaving and re-entering the society screen (or logging out and back in) before reporting it as a new bug — the original issue was the slot count not refreshing promptly after a death, not a hard cap being hit.Reported
