The game shows "marcus-lancer", fails to sign you in and returns you to the title screen. Some players were kicked out of Horde into this error.
Also appears as: marcus-lancer, marcus lancer, marcuslancer, gears e-day error code marcus lancer, gears of war e-day can't sign in, gears of war e-day back to title screen
Players report marcus-lancer when signing in, which sends them back to the title screen. An r/GearsOfWar thread (14 upvotes, 15 comments, October 1) says some were kicked from Horde with it, and several replies say there is no fix.
In a Russian-language Steam thread, a player posted marcus-lancer and others describe sign-in problems from Russia. We don't recommend workarounds that route around regional blocks. No developer response found.
No problems reported in the last 15 minutes.
